THE Resonate Strings quintet are taking their music to a rural venue.

They will play at St Andrew's Church, Charmouth, on Friday, October 19 at 7.30pm.

Artsreach are delighted to be partnering once again with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra to present an intimate performance with the Resonate Strings quintet.

The five gifted musicians who make up the BSO Resonate Strings each represent one of the five string sections of the full Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

This engaging Autumn Serenade programme will reflect the wonderful diversity of the classical string repertoire, featuring pieces from across the centuries.

It will include music from many notable composers; from Vivaldi to Brahms, Mozart to Puccini, and Handel to Astor Piazzolla, and many others beside. Lisa Tregale, Head of Participation at the BSO, joins the Resonate Strings to guide the audience through this fascinating musical repertoire.

Kerry Bartlett, Artsreach co-director said “Dorset is extremely fortunate to be home to a world-class orchestra such as the BSO and Artsreach are always thrilled to be able to partner with this outstanding group of musicians. To be able to present this quality of classical music within in our programme for rural audiences is fantastic.”
