TAKE part in a free two part creative writing workshop at Weymouth Library as part of the national commemoration events marking the end of the Great War.
In Up to the Line, participants will explore the work of war poets Wilfred Owen, Rupert Brooke and others through reading and discussion leading to the creation of new poems from workshop prompts and tuition.
The workshop is suitable for anyone aged 16 and above and for all levels of experience from beginners to more advanced writers
It will be led by Matt West as part of the Pages of the Sea project.
The first workshop is on Tuesday, October 23 and the second is on Tuesday, October 30. Both sessions are from 2pm to 4pm.
