THE mighty Dreadzone will be back in town tomorrow by popular demand.

After a storming sell-out show last year, Dreadzone return to Bridport Electric Palace with a fresh wave of dub, roots, and electronica for your listening and dancing pleasure.

Notorious for this unique blend of sounds, Dreadzone have become stalwarts of the UK's touring and festivals circuits, solidifying themselves as genre-nullifying favourites far and wide since their 1993 inception.

Championing their 2017 album Dread Times - an album which embraces their early dub orientation - they will showcase plenty of bass heavy bits, but are as ever expected to paint their performance from a varied sonic pallet.

Dread Times is the band’s eighth studio album and the third release on their own Dubwiser label. The album stormed into the Top 40 UK Official Album Charts on release, also making the top 10 in the Indie and Dance Charts.

They are joined by Gorilla Tactics, a duo also no stranger to UK festivals - having performed at Boomtown, Nozstock, and Shindig Weekender, to name a few this year. 2018 has also seen them supported icons such as Fatboy Slim, Toots & The Maytals, Craig Charles, Mungos Hifi and more.

Their mix of roots, dancehall, ska and ragga breaks will set the stage for the mighty Dreadzone.

Dreadzone are one of the most energetic, exciting and powerful live bands to emerge from the post-rave scene and have steadily been releasing albums and progressively bettering, refining and perfecting their own unique and inimitable take on dub since their inception in 1993. Still going strong after 25 years in the game they have also long been and still are, one of the best live bands around.

In 2018, Dreadzone move forward as a five piece, after parting ways with their guitarist after 10 years, and are focusing more on the electronic and dub elements of their stage show - a sound they developed in earlier years of Dreadzone.

Their old skool dread sound comes bubbling to the surface on new album Dread Times, which digs deep into their dub and reggae roots whilst still keeping the beats fresh and the textures electronic.
