TONIGHT Weymouth Operatic Society's (WOS) Christmas Show begins its run, which continues until Saturday.

The show is held at Hope Church at Weymouth harbourside during its Christmas tree festival.

WOS has sponsored one of these trees in aid of Fibromyalgia Action UK (FMA UK). This charity provides support to sufferers of this condition and also gives medical information to professionals as more knowledge and awareness of this painful chronic condition is essential.

This charity was chosen as a few members of WOS have fibromyalgia and have to cope with its complexities on a daily basis.

All 26 trees on display for the church's 15th annual Christmas Tree festival are sponsored for different charities and each are lit during our Christmas show, creating a festive setting to the show.

The first act of The Greatest Christmas features a selection of music from well known films and shows. The second act offers a more traditional helping of Christmas songs and carols as well as festive poetry and audience participation in the ever-popular Christmas Wrap feature.
