TWO exhibitions can be seen at Bridport Arts Centre.

Dorset Visual Arts presents Art: Cause and Effect, which continues at the Allsop Gallery at Bridport Arts Centre until Saturday, December 22.

This is an affordable art fair supporting nominated charities. It showcases an eclectic mix of paintings, prints, ceramics, photography, textiles, sculpture and more.

Artists and makers work in a variety of different media, often drawing on Dorset for ideas and inspiration, so there will be something for everyone in this one off show. No item will be over £125.

This exhibition has the additional twist of having a percentage of the label price go to artists’ nominated charities.

Art: Cause and Effect is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm. Free entry.

SEE work by artists who are intent on keeping traditional printmaking skills alive.

Poole Printmakers will be displaying their artwork in the Café & Foyer Galleries at Bridport Arts Centre until Wednesday, December 19.

Located in the heart of ‘old Poole’ Poole Printmakers, they share a working studio space, equipped with intaglio and relief presses, and regularly run a plethora of courses, open to members and non-members alike.

Run as a voluntary organization, artists becoming members are able to use the facilities as part of membership criteria, and the studio caters for an array of printmaking techniques – lino, solar etching, collograph, silk screen printing and more. Open from Tuesdays to Saturdays, 10am to 4pm. Entry is free.
