ACTOR Martin Clunes, who has recently been on our screens in ITV's Manhunt, will attend Dorset Chamber Orchestra's Music for Youth concert in Dorchester on Saturday, March 9.
The concert, at St Mary's Church, begins at 4pm and will see Doc Martin star and Dorset resident Clunes narrate the classic Tubby the Tuba.
The programme will include La peri Fanfare – Dukas, Overture, Light Cavalry - Suppé, Kabalevsky Violin Concerto (1st movement) soloist Elise Griffin, Tubby the Tuba – with Martin Clunes (Narrator), Eroica Symphony No 3– Beethoven – a guide to the last movement and featuring a new work by local composer Joe Berry
Tickets cost £12 (18 and under £1). They're available online at dorsetchamberorchestra.org/ and from Harmony Music, 3-4 The Forum Centre, Trinity Street, Dorchester.
