A BRAND new stand-up show from TV favourite Lucy Porter is coming to Bridport.

Lucy has appeared on Mock of the Week, QI, Room 101, Live at the Apollo and on Radio 4s News Quiz and The Now Show.

Always warm, witty and thought-provoking, this is Lucy’s best show yet. She muses on what we receive from our ancestors and what we pass on to future generations. Lucy’s inherited dodgy knees and global warming from her parents, but can she leave a better legacy for her children?

Like many comedic pieces, the show was inspired by a sad experience. Lucy and her sister were going through her parents' belongs, after they died.

Lucy said: "I started thinking about their legacy and what people think of your life once you are gone, what you leave behind and pass on to the future generations, whether it is glass clowns or something more esoteric. And that was the starting point of the show."

Lisa Wilcock of Bridport Arts said: "Lucy is hilarious and polished comedian with a lovely warm delivery style. This will be a great evening with plenty of material that you will be able to relate to."
