There's so much going on this weekend, we've got a bumper edition of our what's on guide. And luckily just one of these events is weather dependant!

*SEE a talented group of youngsters perform a play as part of the National Theatre Connections Festival.

Dorchester Youth Theatre is staging Chaos at the Corn Exchange tonight at 7.30pm.

Chaos features a series of characters searching for meaning in a complicated and unstable world. Bouncing through physics, the cosmos, love and violence, they find order in the disorder of each other.

*HEAR a love letter to the Fab Four when Beatlemania takes to the stage of Weymouth Pavilion tomorrow night.

All 17 of the band's number one hits will be performed on this magical musical tour.

*ACCLAIMED jazz bassist Alec Dankworth is playing two gigs this weekend with his quartet World Spirit.

The band will p[lay tunes by Duke Ellington, Bela Flek, Antonio-Carlos Jobim, Abdullah Ibrahim and WC Handy.

World Spirit will be playing at Sturminster Marshall Memorial Hall at 7.30pm on Saturday, March 16; then at Buckland Newton Village Hall at 7.30pm on Sunday, March 17. For Sturminster Marshall tickets, call 07903 057427. For Buckland Newton tickets, call 01300 345455.

*FEEL the Blues with a special gig at Milborne St Andrew Village Hall tomorrow evening from 7.30pm.

This live blues gig with band Teed Up brings a mix of reworked classics and originals, delivered with superb musicianship. All proceeds from the event will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust and Riding for the Disabled. Tickets cost £10. Call 01258 837280.

*MIRANDA Sykes, acclaimed singer and bassist with Show of Hands, brings her Behind the Wall tour to Osmington Village Hall near Weymouth on Saturday, March 16 from 7.30pm.

*AN EXHIBITION which covers the complete history of the RAF Warmwell-based 152 Squadron opens on Sunday at the Spitfire Club in Crossways.

It has been put together by Rob Oliver, who helped get a memory plaque in place at the club to honour the men who served at RAF Warmwell during the Battle of Britain.

The exhibition will then be open this Saturday from 12pm to 4pm and then every Sunday from 12pm to 4pm. Entry is free.

*A FAMILY Science Festival can be enjoyed at Dorchester Corn Exchange on Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.

The event is free to attend and will include an exciting range of interactive stalls brought to you by local scientists.

*CHEER on runners who will be taking part in the Weymouth Half Marathon on Sunday.

Participants will set off from Weymouth Pavilion at 8.30am. Be aware of road closures and road crossings where traffic management will be in place with a stop/go system to control traffic.

*TAKE part in a free lantern making workshop at St John's Church Hall, Fortuneswell, Portland, from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday. All materials will be provided.
