FUNNYMAN Omid Djalili will be leading the laughs at this year’s Camp Bestival in Dorset.

The award-winning comedian and actor will be joined by Boothby Graffoe and comedy compere Andre Vincent at the family-friendly festival at Lulworth Castle from Thursday, July 25 to Sunday, July 28.

Curator Rob da Bank said: “I’m so pleased we finally got Omid to come to Camp Bestival. He’s exactly the kinda comic we need in our times who isn’t scared about breaking down stereotypes and always has us wetting ourselves, sometimes literally, with his keen eye and sharp tongue. Whack in Boothby Graffoe, whose work with Barenaked Ladies we love too, for a cracking double bill of side-splitting mirth and merriment.”

Djalili has become a household name in the UK, thanks to stand-out features in hits such as Mamma Mia 2 and The Infidel.

Boothby Graffoe will be bringing his best unique, quirky songs and stand-up sketches to Lulworth Castle, whilst Andre Vincent will be taking on MC duties and compering at the popular Big Top.

They join a whole host of music legends including Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Jess Glynne and The Human League, whilst little ones can enjoy out-of-this-world children’s entertainment from party people Big Fish Little Fish, Mr Tumble and kids TV favourites Sam & Mark.

Rob da Bank adds: “Immerse yourself with mouth-watering foodie fixes at this year’s Feast Collective, and enrich your mind with inspiring talks from the Literary Institute. Fancy something new? Prepare the little ones uncover their wild side and step away from the screens with Camp Bestival’s brand new field for 2019 encouraging screen-free time, Wild Tribe.”
