PUPPET workshops and a comedy show will provide entertainment over Easter at the Lyric Theatre in Bridport.

Holy Miller, resident puppet and prop maker, will give people a chance to make a creation to take home in the workshops.

For Odd Bitz Puppets on Tuesday, April 9, come create, make and construct an odd bitz puppet! It could be your favourite character, animal or alien - let your imagination run wild. This workshop is downstairs in the auditorium.

On Thursday, April 11, Scene in a Box will invite participants to design and construct their own scene using recycled materials, fabrics and paints. This workshop is upstairs in the creation space.

On Tuesday April 16, Rod Puppets will invite people to make a rod puppet of a human, animal, favourite relative or a character from their imagination! This workshop is upstairs in the creation space.

All workshops run 10am - 2pm, are for adults and children over eight and include all materials. Dress for mess and bring a packed lunch and drink. Advance booking is essential,

You’re invited to the construction site of a new Utopia. So don your hard hat and get ready for a hilarious site tour; hammering away at the big questions, telling jokes and building a brave new world! Can it be done? Or will it just be late and over budget?

Utopia: Under Construction is an evening of fun, friendly, satirical hilarity not to be missed!
