FURTHER details on the line-up for this year’s Larmer Tree Festival have been announced, including a talk by journalist Kate Adie.

Children’s BBC star Andy Day (Andy’s Wild Adventures) comes to the main stage as part of the family programme. Andy and the Odd Socks will be delivering smash hits such as Aliens, Battle Robot Rapper, Dinosaur Football Legend Mega Match and Groovy Hoover.

Kate Adie in conversation with Richard Osgood will be headlining this year’s theatre, poetry and talks programme.

She was one of the first British women to send dispatches from danger zones around the world and was BBC chief news correspondent from 1989 to 2003.

Kate will discuss her life and work, cultures and war zones and will explore the changing perceptions of women in the media.

BBC Radio 4’s show, Four Thought, will be recording at the festival, with speakers invited to provide answers to some of the biggest questions facing society today.

Also announced are workshops including aerial yoga, bird-ringing, knicker-making and a hula disco, as well as sessions with Salisbury Museum and the Jurassic Coast Trust.

The music line-up features Kate Tempest, The Cat Empire, Jack Savoretti and The Shires, Gomez, KT Tunstall, Let’s Eat Grandma and GoGo Penguin.
