ONE of the country's quirkiest festivals is back in Dorchester next month.
The Dorset Knob Throwing and Food Festival will be at Kingston Maurward College near Dorchester on Sunday, May 5 from 10am to 4pm.
It will have all the knob games, a selection of local food, drink and crafts and more!
Moores, creators of the famous Dorset knob and Kingston Maurward College will assist in supporting the event.
As well as Knob Throwing there will be additional fun knob attractions including Knob Eating, Knob Painting, a Knob & Spoon Race, Guess the weight of the Big Knob, Knob Darts and a Knob Pyramid and other more traditional entertainment will be laid on to make this a really enjoyable day out with a difference.
The food festival will run along side the knob throwing. There will be the opportunity to sample, taste and purchase a fine range of foods including breads, cheeses, ciders, meats, pies, preserves, and puddings in addition to chocolate, coffee and wine, produced by local businesses.
