THERE are two opportunities to take part in a fun and interactive family event these school summer holidays.
Discover how to stay safe by joining SafeWise Weymouth’s Junior Safety Inspector family events at SafeWise Weymouth at Weymouth Fire Station on Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, August 28. The sessions begin at 10am and end at 1.30pm.
The self-guided tour is designed to last around one and a half hours, and consists of a treasure hunt and problem solving.
Children and their families can discover how to stay safe, build confidence and learn valuable skills for life in SafeWise’s interactive learning village - complete with full-size road layout and streetscape including double decker bus and rail lines, fire safety scenarios and much more.
The event is aimed at five to 11 year olds, but all ages are welcome with children collecting a certificate and prize when they qualify as a junior safety inspector.
