DOG owners from Poundbury celebrated National Dog Photography Day with a group picture of them and their four-legged friends.
The event was organised by Charlotte Erika Walker, owner of Animal Health & Wellbeing. Pet photographer Tara, of AT Studio Photography, snapped individual portraits of each dog and their owner, as well as capturing the group photo which was shared on social media.
Charlotte said: “We love taking photos of the dogs we care for and wanted to do something to celebrate Dog Photography Day. We had a great group photo while raising money for the Guide Dogs Association and the Dogs Trust."
National Dog Photography Day was set up by pet photographer Kerry Jordan, of Fur and Fables in Haslemere, Surrey, in 2018. The day aims to recognise the special bond between dogs and their owners.
