AS the Ladies & Juniors National Autograss Championships enter their 35th year, the races are heading to Yeovil.
Held at Bearley Raceway, just off the A303, the races will be taking place over the weekend of August 31 and September 1.
Autograss is a non-contact sport consisting of 11 NASA classes, divided by set up type and engine size. Up to eight cars start on a straight line grid and race through qualifying heats and finals, before a final open race decides the champion of champions.
Attendees will get to experience up to 200 races, with the social aspect and family nature of the event as important as ever.
Ray Wyeth, Southern League chairman, said: "It is an honour to host such a prestigious event in our sporting calendar. We, as a league, are very much looking forward to putting on a show worthy of the country's best lady and junior drivers."
Racing begins at 10am each day. Tickets are available on the gate, costing £12.50 for adults and £5 for OAPs and children aged 12-15, with under 12s going free.
