CINDERELLA will be the final production from the Royal Manor Theatre Company on Portland as it celebrates its 60th anniversary year.

The pantomime is written and directed by Janet Botterill and contains three songs written by the company's Andy Straw.

It is a colourful show with all the usual points of traditional audience participation including some songs to sing along to.

Janet said, "Having written the show it needed a strong cast to bring it to life and I am so pleased with the way the senior members and the junior Playmakers have combined and supported each other to give the audience what they expect from a pantomime.

"There are lots of laughs, songs, helpings of silliness and plenty of interaction".

The Royal Manor Theatre Christmas show has become something of an institution on Portland and, as Janet added: "I am confident that people wanting a good evening out with the family to kick off their festive season will not be disappointed."

The show runs at the Royal Manor Theatre, Fortuneswell, Portland from Monday to Saturday, December 3 to 8. Tickets will go on sale from Monday, November 26 and cost £8 plus concessions. They will be available from Danny's in Fortuneswell, R T Cards in Easton, from the theatre box office on 01305 860792 and online from rmtcportland.co.uk
