TICKETS are now on sale for the first anniversary show of the Bridport Comedy Cafe which returns next week.
After a summer break the comedy returns to the Bridport Arts Centre’s Cafe with another line up of new talent next Friday.
Hosting the night will be regular MC Tom Glover, who will be joined by some of the newest acts on the comedy scene making their first steps into the tough world of live stand up.
Finishing the night in style will be headliner Russ Powell, who has a unique brand of one-liners and hilarious anecdotes that never fail to entertain.
Russ has only been on the comedy circuit a couple of years but has already clocked up more than 500 gigs and has appeared at some of the country’s biggest venues.
“As the nights get darker and the weather gets colder it's the perfect time for stand up comedy,” said Tom.
The September Bridport Arts Centre Comedy Café will be at 8pm on September 28. Tickets are available from the box office on 01308 424204 and cost £5.
