David William ‘Dave’ Golding

GOLDING David William 'Dave' Passed away at home on Portland on 9th August 2022 aged 88 years. Husband of the late Eileen, dad of the late David John, a loving father in law, grandad and great grandad. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. A celebration of Dave's life will take place at Weymouth Crematorium Chapel on Friday 26th August at 11.30am followed by interment at Weymouth Cemetery. Family flowers only please but if desired, donations can be made in his memory for Harlequin Sports c/o Rose Funeral Service, 23 Shrubbery Lane, Wyke Regis, DT4 9LY. Dave will always be a Portland Legend in our eyes. What he did for the youth of the Island will never be forgotten. A genuinely Kind and Caring man. Rest in Peace dear sir. Thank-you for EVERYTHING!!! It Is an Honour to have known you and Eileen! When I die, I hope you will again, have me in your Football team in the sky!
