We were all surprised when 2012 turned out not to be the wettest calendar year on record (due to the very dry early months – remember the hose pipe ban?) but I think the period from April 2012 through March 2013 will be the wettest 12 month period we have known.
Perhaps Mr Poots could let us know if this is so?
