Enterprise St Michael’s is holding a members meeting on Wednesday at Bridport Town Hall.
The event comes a year after the launch of the community benefit society, which is seeking a way to secure and improve St Michael’s Trading Estate in the town by investment and offering shares within the local community.
Members of the Enterprise are invited to share their ideas on a sensitive regeneration of the trading estate, through increasing employment opportunities, improving buildings, the environment and enhancing Bridport’s unique heritage.
One proposal is to renovate the historic Stover building and provide further recreational and sports facilities in the currently unused area.
Enterprise St Michael’s now has 290 members. Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting if they wish to buy a community share in the project, at £1 with a £9 subscription fee.
