A PLUCKY fundraiser will make a leap of faith as she takes to the skies for a charity challenge.
Kate O’Donnell, from Stratton near Dorchester, will be leaping from a plane in July in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
She was inspired to raise money for the charity after it provided end of life care to her cousin Gil Evans in 2011.
Kate said: “Gil had such wonderful care in her own home from Marie Curie nurses who enabled her family to support Gil with dignity and professionalism.”
Kate’s tandem skydive will take place over Swindon on July 14 and she is aiming to raise more than £400 for Marie Curie.
Anyone wishing to sponsor her can do so online at justgiving.com.kateodonnell1 There is also a chance for anyone else wishing to join Kate and take to the skies for an adrenaline rush from 10,000 feet all in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Anyone interested is asked to call 0845 052 4184 or visit mariecurie.org.uk/parachuting
