In Saturday April 27’s Echo, it was stated that Dorchester FC owed npower a £21,000 fuel bill and if it doesn’t pay by a certain date, the supply will be cut off.

It then stated if the club agreed to pay the security deposit and sign up to a new two-year supply contract, the amount will fall to £13,500 with repayments spread over the following two years.

Then it states if the club was prepared to pay the historic debt as a lump sum, the power company would, as a goodwill gesture, accept around £10,500.

How can all these goodwill gestures apply to a football club and I am expected to pay my supplies on time with no reductions?
