Firefighters used a crowbar to release a toddler trapped between a washing machine and a kitchen cabinet.
The alarm was raised at 10.08am on Saturday after the two-year-old boy’s arm got stuck at his family’s home in Columbia Road, Ensbury Park, Bourne-mouth. A Dorset Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said a crew from Redhill was sent to the property.
She added: “They used a crowbar to release the child whose elbow was trapped.
“They gave him first-aid and his parents took him to hospital. He was given Trauma Ted; a cuddly teddy bear.”
The boy is not believed to have suffered serious injuries.
