LIFE-SIZE models have been giving children a taster of biology in Dorset's travelling classroom.
Pupils at Wool First School spent the day in an interactive visiting van, the Life Education Centre.
Children aged from four to seven took classes titled 'My Wonderful Body' and 'The Brain'.
Pupils learnt from a life-size model called Tammy and a friendly giraffe called Harold.
School secretary Denise Brown said: "The children love it because it's a fun way to learn and it takes them out of the classroom, giving them the chance to do something slightly different."
Four Life Education Centres visit 90 per cent of Dorset's school children every year.
