THERE is a varied selection of entertainment on offer thanks to Artsreach over the coming days.

The Dorset-based arts charity has laid on a wide range of events to keep everyone in the family happy.

Dangerous Curves is Dorset's very own all-female a cappella group and you can catch their sparkling show at Milborne St Andrew village hall tonight (call 01258 837262) and Broadoak village hall tomorrow (call 01308 424922).

Both shows start at 7.30pm and offer audiences the band's own particular take on life, lampooning anything and anyone - especially themselves!

Kneehigh Theatre are also back early next week with their adaptation of Jules Verne's Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

Guided by an ancient map, and with his reluctant nephew in tow, an eccentric Professor descends deep into the crater of an extinct volcano Vast underground caverns and rivers of lava, giant prehistoric creatures and lost civilisations will be conjured before your very eyes. Jules Verne meets Hollywood B-movie in this stunning production for all the family!

This show went down a storm earlier in the year, and now there's a chance for those who missed out to catch Kneehigh when they visit village halls in Halstock (Tuesday, December 5, call 01935 or 01935 891781) and Sturminster Newton (Thursday, December 7, call 01258 472642).

Both shows start at 7.30pm.
