TONIGHT is the first night of a new hard dance event in Weymouth.

Distorted Vision is on at Harry's. The line-up includes a warm up set from CMD. Then Richie T will play UK hard house and MNKY and RYKI will play some hard style. These will be followed by DJ House and new skool hardcore.

Some big-name DJs are hoped to appear in Distorted Vision next year including DJ Sy. The organisers are interested to hear from hard dance fiends about their favourite DJs and they will then endeavour to book them for future Distorted Vision nights.

Doors open at 10pm and it will be open until 4am. Entry is £4, get into the ground floor for free.

n TOMORROW Fish Seeks Bicycle is holding a Fire and Ice ball at the Old Firestation in Bournemouth. Dress either in red or white, dark or light to conform to the fire and ice theme. As with all Fish Seeks Bicycle events there will be stalls, sideshows, revelry and probably debauchery.

There will be live music from Bristol-based ska band Smerins Anti Social Club, the Don Bradmans and early blues from the Tarka Groove Experiment.

Dan Ferro, Chris Tofu, and the Stamford Hill Gunclub will DJ.

There will also be dancers, a Chai caf, an ice sculpture and prizes for the bestdressed.

Tickets cost £11 on the door and doors open at 9.30pm, last entry is 1.30am and it all ends at 4am.

n ALSO tomorrow is the last Electric Playground party of the year at Dusk Till Dawn in Bournemouth. It will be an all-nighter featuring the charms, house and techno music of American Brett Johnson. Doors open at 11pm and the music stops at 6am. Entry costs £6.

n THE Consortium in Bournemouth should be busy tomorrow as well because the mighty LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad will be there supported by Judda and Deep, Element, Emotion and MC Manic. Doors open at 9pm and entry is £5 before 11pm and £8 afterwards.
