MUSICIAN Ben Waters will perform a charity concert organised by a local cancer support group.
The event at Herrison Hall in Charlton Down on November 16 will raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
The concert was organised by Pan Pals, which was set up by Lynda Pain and Audrey Saunders to give support to anyone affected by pancreatic cancer in Dorset.
Since its launch last year the group has raised around £10,000 through events such as open gardens, an auction, a quiz night, a choral concert and a street stall.
November is Pancreatic Cancer UK’s major fundraising month and Pan Pals members are hoping for a big turnout for Mr Waters’ concert, which starts at 7.30pm.
There will also be a bar and raffle on the night with prizes including a week-long break for two in Dorset, a luxury hamper and a hand-carved stool made by a local craftsman.
For tickets, call 01258 837770 or 01305 261785.
