STUDENTS put on the razzle-dazzle for a glamorous cocktail party - as part of their studies.
The four business studies students at the Thomas Hardye School in Dorchester had to stage an event as part of their A-level course.
Melanie Dupr, Emma Dawson, Charlie Evans and Lee King opted for a cocktail party in the stylish setting of Kingston Maurward.
Emma said: "We had professional cocktail waiters, a professional photographer, two bands, a DJ and a chocolate fountain - it was quite a night."
Their 200 guests were mostly students, teachers and school staff.
Melanie said: "We had to cover the costs by ticket sales. In fact, we hope to make a good profit because the proceeds are going to CancerCare."
