PUPILS from three Weymouth schools who worked on a cross-campus art project together met up again to celebrate their creations.

Youngsters from Wey Valley, Wyvern and St Nicholas and St Laurence proudly showed off the three mosaic panels they had jointly created.

Now each school will display one of the mosaics, which were designed to mark Wyvern's move into its new building on the shared Wey Valley campus.

The students worked with teachers and artists on the artworks, which were based on movement to reflect Wey Valley's status as a sports college.

And the children involved were joined by Wyvern governors Anne Kenwood and Cindy Lane for the mini-premiere of the finished pieces.

Mrs Kenwood said she was delighted at the results, and thanked everyone involved in the Wyvern relocation to its new school.

Wyvern headteacher Sue Hoxey added: "One of the greatest advantages of the relocation of Wyvern to a mainstream campus is the opportunity to work together to the benefit of everyone.

"This collaboration will be the first of many and shows what can be achieved by such co-operation."
