PUBLIC consultation has started on the new Dorchester Transport and Environment Plan.
The plans are both online at dorsetforyou.com or at an exhibition at the Dorchester Library until Friday 25 October.
Yesterday residents flocked to the consultation to see what roads might be affected and what initial plans are being suggested.
Phase one of the traffic calming scheme will start in November 2014.
At this early stage plans show that High West Street and part of High East Street are to be made one-way and the direction of flow on some roads will be changed.
On Wednesday 23 October there will be a staffed exhibition in a gazebo in South Street, near Boots.
