A GREAT-grandmother is ready to spoil her family rotten this Christmas after scooping £2,300 in the Dorset Echo's Find the Ball competition.
Margaret Brady, 75, from Portland, could not believe it when she found out she'd won the runner-up prize.
She said the cash will come in handy as she rushes around buying Christmas presents for her three daughters, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs Brady, of Headland Close, said it was her first-ever big win - despite taking part in the contest for years.
"I didn't believe it when my husband told me," she said. "I got him to repeat it three times.
"It's such a lovely surprise this close to Christmas. I'll be spending it on presents for all my family.
"My grandchildren and great-grandchildren are getting older now, so the things they want are that bit more expensive. This will be a massive help."
Retired factory worker Mrs Brady has lived on Portland all her life.
Nobody won last week's £36,000 jackpot and the jackpot for tomorrow now stands at £38,000.
