Emergency services rushed to a Weymouth street to rescue a man from a roof.
Police and fire crews were called to Horsford Street, near Brewers Quay, at 9pm on Wednesday evening.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “Police were called by the ambulance service to a report of a man on the roof.
“Officers and the fire service attended.
“The man was safely lowered to the ground and taken to a safe place.”
Resident Sarah Insley was shocked to see the man on the roof opposite their home at the back of Brewer's Quay.
She said: “It was very dramatic especially as they used a crane to get the man to safety.
“I don't know what he was doing up there but I'm glad he's okay.”
