THE Dorchester Bards will be back by popular demand for a second evening of poetry and music.
Following a successful first event at the venue, the group will be at the Kings Arms for a performance on Saturday, February 1.
The trio consists of Jerry Bird on guitar, Dorchester town crier Alistair Chisholm and Julian Nangle reading poems.
The event will have a love theme this time round, looking forward to Valentine’s Day, with the group reading poems of their own as well as a wide range of 19th and 20th-century poetry as well as some contemporary works.
Tickets are available on the door on the night for £5 or in advance from the Dorchester Tourist Information Centre in Antelope Walk for £4.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and the bar downstairs will be open throughout the event.
