A PARAGLIDER was flying high after seeing the Jurassic Coast from a unique and different perspective.
Tim Pentreath, 50, now lives in Bath but originally lived in Upwey, Weymouth as a child and knows Dorset well.
He has enjoyed paragliding as a hobby for 25 years and also enjoys kite surfing.
On February 16, Tim began a paragliding trip from Ringstead Bay and was able to film his experiences.
Tim said: “Together with a group of paragliders we saw a break in the recent bad weather and decided to go paragliding because we knew it would be better weather.
As a paraglider pilot I am very privileged to see the world from a different perspective than most, and I was lucky enough to be able to enjoy a first-hand view of Dorset's Jurassic Coast that not many will have seen.
“I wanted to share my video so that others could see the fantastic aerial views that come with paragliding.
“In the winter months, paragliding close to the coast is a great experience because the breeze coming from the sea helps you keep going.”
Tim’s longest distance as a paraglider came while doing cross country flying from Hambledon Hill, just north of Blandford in June last year.
Tim travelled a distance of 100 miles, eventually reaching Bude in Cornwall.
