A NEW £1 coin, personal allowance increases and a ‘resilient economy.’
Later today, Chancellor George Osborne will set out his plans for the UK for the year ahead.
He will seek to support, what he has called a ‘resilient economy.’ Taking to the stand at 12.30pm, key issues on the addenda will be the proposed increase to £10,000 that people will be able to get tax free and a new 12-sided pound coin.
The new coin which is aimed at stopping forgeries and counterfeits, will replace the £1 coin that was introduced more than 30 years ago.
It resembles the old 12-sided threepenny bit.
