ANYONE thinking of volunteering in their local community is invited to a fun-filled event at the Weymouth Community Fire Station in Radipole Lane on Friday, April 11.
The Volunteer Centre Dorset is holding a Volunteer Information Fun Day from 9.30pm to 2pm.
People will be able to find out more about the Community Credit Scheme as well as enjoy some fun activities.
People can have a go at Zumba dancing or get pampered with a hand or foot massage or a quick makeover.
Around 20 local organisations will also be at the event to explain the many volunteering opportunities available locally. There will also be light refreshments on offer.
