BEST-SELLING authors and inspiring poets are set to feature in this year’s Writers and Readers’ Day.
Organised by the Dorset Library Service, the biennial event is due to return to Sturminster Newton on June 28.
Councillor Colin Jamieson, cabinet member for community services at Dorset County Council, said: “There is a brilliant mix of best-selling, nationally acclaimed and local authors and speakers lined-up who will inspire you with their energy and enthusiasm.”
The event, which is at the Exchange between 10am and 4pm, is set to feature authors Denise Mina, Matt Haig and Judy Astley and topical poet and Radio 4 regular Matt Harvey.
Tickets cost £20. To book call the box office on 01258 475137. For details visit news.dorsetforyou.com/libraries/library-events
