DETECTIVES investigating the alleged murder of Poole nurse Rui Li say they would like to speak to anyone who has had contact with one of the men charged in relation to her death.

Last night, three women, aged 25, 28 and 65 and all from Bournemouth, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

The latest arrests followed the husband of Rui Li, Pierre Legris, 60, being charged with her murder and his son Jonathon, 26, being charged with assisting an offender.

This lunchtime, police said that they were now appealing for anyone who had any contact with Jonathon between May 20 and 30 to come forward.

Today the scenes involved in the investigation, including Cromer Motors in St Clement’s Road, Boscombe, and Burnham Drive were still taped off.

At Meon Road in Boscombe East a police van and officers were on the scene. Neighbours said they had been coming and going since Sunday.

The 44-year-old nurse was found dead in the boot of a silver Fiat Punto in Verwood Crescent, Bournemouth, on Friday evening.

Yesterday an inquest heard that the mother-of-one died as the result of blunt force trauma to the head.

Detectives are still appealing for information about the movements of two vehicles – a silver Fiat Punto with registration plate W887 PDL and a large white Ford Transit van with registration plate Y491 GFT – between Saturday, May 24, and Wednesday, May 28.
