A MAN required medical assistance after a fish hook got stuck in his finger.
A call was received on VHF radio from the boat Dawn Run in Chapman's Pool at around 1.44pm.
The Dawn Run had been approached for help by four people on board a speedboat, one of whom was the injured party.
It accompanied the speedboat to Kimmeridge where they were met by Kimmeridge Coastguard Rescue Officers.
One of the officers, who is a First Responder, treated the casualty and advised him to attend a hospital accident and emergency department.
