What an interesting interview with Condor boss James Fulford. Dorset Echo Tuesday, June 10.
I actually laughed out loud with his not ‘recognising the language’ of being held to ransom.
I was having difficulty in ‘recognising his language’ ie plans for new ferry ‘weren’t on the table’, ‘opportunity for re-investment has presented itself’. Has everyone been to spin doctor school?
He continues to spin, saying it’s appropriate that the port provide appropriate facilities.
Isn’t spending £3m repairing Berth 3 appropriate enough?
Perhaps Condor, like our own council in the past, deliberated too long in deciding to act on upgrading its assets. Unfortunately, it looks like Weymouth is going to have to pay the cost.
