LITTLEMOOR Fun Day is set to live up to its name this weekend.

The annual event attracts thousands of people and this year is set to be bigger and better than ever before.

It is held in Top Club Field in Louviers Road, Littlemoor and there will be performances and displays from local groups, charity stalls, children’s rides and activities, trampolines, steam engine rides and many more activities.

It is taking place between noon and 4pm on Saturday.

One of the organisers Jan Hinton said: “Last year was a wash out but this year will be bigger and better than ever before.

“It will be a fantastic day for all the family.”

Entertaining the visitors will be displays by the Zumba Dancers, the Second Edition Majorettes and performances from local musicians.

Ms Hinton added: “Please come along. The weather is set to be fine and there are lots of local charities raising funds.”

This year will once again host Simon Chainey, who performs with fire and does circus tricks.

There will also be plenty to keep the children happy, with free train rides, trampolines, a bucking bronco, magic shows and face painting. Stalls will be set up around the field, raising money for local charities, and there are still spaces available for car boot holders.

There will also be plenty to eat and drink with cakes and cream teas on sale as well as a burger van and a tuck shop.

To book a car boot space call Tony on 01305 833073.
