A RARE opportunity has arisen for a musician to support punk band From The Jam with Bruce Foxton at Bridport's Electric Palace on Friday, September 19.

The show is part of the band’s forthcoming autumn tour, celebrating the 35th anniversary of the album Setting Sons.

Talented musicians are being sought to compete for the chance to star alongside From the Jam.

They will need to send their details and a soundcloud or YouTube link to ayermt@gmail.com In November 1979 The Jam released their classic album Setting Sons and the single The Eton Rifles – their first top ten hit single.

To celebrate the album's 35th anniversary, From The Jam, featuring original The Jam member bass player Foxton and guitarist/vocalist Russell Hastings and drummer Steve (Smiley) Barnard, will perform the album in its entirety.

As well as a thrilling performance of Settings Sons the audience can expect From The Jam to perform a selection of hits and album tracks from The Jam's back catalogue and songs from Bruce Foxton's own solo career including 2012’s Back In The Room.
