HAPPY DAYS: Portland’s Age UK volunteers helping out with the shop’s first birthday celebration
THE PORTLAND community came together to help the isle’s Age UK shop celebrate its first birthday party this month.
Nicky Turrell, Portland Hub Coordinator for Age UK, said: “There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day and it was very successful, raising £310.50.”
Volunteers said they enjoyed rolling up their sleeves at the Fortuneswell shop.
