All praise Reverend Chris for sticking up for what he and many others believe in and for not being afraid to speak out. As a Christian I wholly agree with what he put on the internet.
Halloween has been built up with the belief that it’s fun to celebrate the evil beings in this world, either real or imaginary. After all, what is the difference between Dracula and Hitler or Bin Laden? Not a lot.
Things have long been getting out of hand with vulnerable people dreading this time of year. The knock at the door as parents encourage their children to demand treats with the potential of threats if they don’t get them.
In the past some areas have seen what happens to people who dare to challenge them. I thought demanding with menaces was a crime, anyway. Also my family don’t eat many sweets, so why should I buy them for others?
This is commercialism gone mad and those who can’t afford to join in having more strain put on them. Keeping the dentist busy, though.
