Boots boosts toy appeal funds

Boots has been supporting the toy appeal for six years and staff are proud to be supporting this worthwhile cause.

Last year the toy appeal raised almost £4,500 to buy gifts for underprivileged youngsters to open on Christmas Day and this year we hope to raise even more.

Boots joins many other businesses and shops across West Dorset who have placed collection pots and toy bins in their stores to accept donations to support the 15th annual Dorset Echo Christmas Toy Appeal.

Store manager, Ashley Littlewood-Miller, said: “I am so proud to support this initiative and I would absolutely encourage other businesses to sign up next year.

“Our customers have responded extremely positively to the appeal and we have not even had to highlight the collection pot as so many loyal customers remember our involvement from previous years.”

How to donate to the Toy Appeal: We are looking for 30 businesses to donate £100 each for our appeal.

This has been amazingly successful in previous years and has been the main way that the toy appeal has been able to provide so many toys and gifts for needy children. Each donation is gratefully received and all those donating £100 will be featured in the Echo.
