On behalf of the recently formed committee for Marie Curie fundraising in Dorchester, I’d like to thank our collectors for braving a very chilly day last weekend. But more particularly the generous public who donated £235.
This is a wonderful start for our group and we hope that anyone who would like to help us in any way will contact us on dorchestermariecuriefundraisinggroup@outlook.com Marie Curie nurses in Dorset care for terminally ill patients in their own homes, and every £20 raised will cover the cost of a nurse for one hour. Any help, by way of time or donations in memory of a loved one, would serve to provide support for the nurses in their valuable work.
Once again, thank you.
Richard Crosby, Chairman of the Dorchester Fundraising Group
