Janet Burnet, the Green Party Parliamentary candidate for South Dorset has seemingly learnt nothing so far as politics is concerned. She erroneously believes the ‘real policy makers are the voters’.
Well, if she believes that hogwash, she probably also believes that fairies still live at the bottom of her garden.
The Green Party, or any other political party for that matter, will never implement what really needs to be done to get this country back on its feet – dramatically cut public spending. Why? Because two groups, for selfish reasons, public sector workers and those on benefits, want the rest of the country to keep them in the manner that they have become accustomed to.
And of course, since the number of voters employed by the state or who are supported by the state is now great enough to ensure a parliamentary majority, there is absolutely no chance that anything will be done. Until perhaps, the UK is bankrupt – which it nearly is.
