A TRESPASSER at Dorchester South train station caused a brief delay to rail services this afternoon.
South West Trains reported on its Twitter feed that the 12.35pm London Waterloo to Weymouth service was being delayed at the county town station owing to a ‘trespass incident’.
A spokesman for the train company said the incident caused a minor delay, with services able to resume shortly afterwards and they are now running as normal.
He said: “There was a trespasser at Dorchester South shortly after 3pm but they left the station very soon after.
“One service was delayed by seven minutes.”
