A DRIVER who failed to stop after knocking a woman off her bike is being hunted by police.
Officers are appealing for information about the incident which happened last Saturday.
A 22-year-old woman was cycling along Dorchester Road towards the Manor roundabout when the actions of a car driver 'caused her to fall off her bike.'
The woman sustained cuts to her face, hand and leg. Her bicycle was also damaged.
The driver of the car involved, believed to be a small four-wheel drive car, failed to stop at the scene.
Police Constable Graham Pinney, of Weymouth police, said: “I would like to speak to the person driving the car at the time, anyone who witnessed the incident or who may be able to give a more detailed description of the car involved.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police ion 101 quoting incident number 15:389.
