A man was rescued from a jetty in Weymouth this morning after sustaining an ankle injury.
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service were called by the Ambulance service shortly before 5am this morning to help them rescue a casualty from a jetty off North Quay in Weymouth.
Technical rescue crews from Weymouth and retained crews from Weymouth and Portland attended the scene and helped the man into a basket stretcher, who had fallen from a bridge.
He was treated by the ambulance crew and taken to Dorset County Hospital.
